Item #783 from Hannah’s Big Book of Stuff To Do with the Plastic Curlers that Came with the American Girl Doll that Your Aunt Got You for Christmas

Why, have your mother put them in your own hair and make what would otherwise be a regular old school day extra festive, of course.

And since we’re talking hair…

For those days when you’re feeling extra sassy, a Hannah Montana wig can come in handy, especially when gathered into pigtails and paired with pink and burgundy soccer socks worn with your big sister’s Converse All-Stars.

  1. A) Aww. How cute.

    B) Yikes. :-)

  2. Who’s the girl in these pictures? I do not recognize either one. Can’t possibly be the junior bridesmaid sometimes known as Le Banana. She seems so Shirley Temple in pic 1, and so completely scary and sinister in pic 2. No…make that downright frightening. Shiver.

  3. WordPress isn’t letting me add this to your comment, Uncle Doug, so I’ll just respond here:

Exactly — as soon as she saw her curly hair, she wandered around the house saying, “Please call me Shirley Temple!” and I ALSO hardly recognize her. Good to know should we ever require the services of the Witness Protection Program. Scary? Well, yes. Most days.
